About Island State Wastewater Maintenance

Island State Wastewater Maintenance is a family owned business providing services to residential and commercial customers throughout Tasmania.

The business has its origins in the mid-90s when parents Ashley and Julie Hall started manufacturing, and installing septic tanks. In 2001, they expanded into the wastewater treatment systems we specialise in today.

Over the next few years, their children including Simon and brothers started working for them. Then in 2015, Simon and his wife Clare assumed responsibility for the service and maintenance side of the operations and purchased this side of the business in 2017. Simon is still involved in the development of the wastewater systems and this ensures a high level of familiarity with the latest systems, and each client’s preferences from day one.

We now employ 2 technicians full time, Martin & my brother-in-law Leighton, and we can proudly say we are a 100% Tasmanian company; employing locals and contributing back into the Tasmanian economy.
